Atria’s new Christmas decorations
The story behind Atria’s new Christmas decorations
We are excited to introduce our brand-new Christmas decorations scheme #LoveFromAtria.
The new decorations have been created by internationally celebrated agency, James Glancy Design, who deliver stand-out locations like Carnaby Street amongst others.
The scheme is designed to share a message of joy, community, and a nostalgic reminder of how Christmas traditions bring people together.
Christmas is all about the little traditions. Some are carefully planned, others happen by accident. All are special.
‘Love From’ is a bespoke and never-seen-before scheme that includes oversized Christmas cards, suspended by ribbons and giant clothes pegs, will herald the start of the Christmas period and remind visitors of the importance of reaching out to friends, family and almost-lost contacts. At the heart of the scheme is the 'Community Christmas Tree' sculpture, featuring artwork created by local children, collected, scaled-up and arranged to form an epic tower of cards.
Over 150 entries were put forward from local schools including Holy Rood Primary School; Central Primary School; St Johns Church of England Primary and St Josephs Primary School.
'Thirty drawings were carefully selected to form the final card composition; showcasing a wonderful variety of style, colour and composition and unique character'
We’re proud to be bringing something so personal and unique to the shopping centre and with Watford at the heart of the scheme we hope it will put lots of smiles on our visitor’s faces.
The Christmas Card sculpture will be located in Charter Place, you can’t miss it!
All 150 of the school children’s drawings will be available to view in the centre during the festive season #LoveFromAtria
