Free craft workshops this February half term
To support and celebrate Random Acts of Kindness day on Monday 17th February we are hosting some creative craft workshops inviting families to take part in a series of heartwarming activities designed to inspire generosity and connection.
Each day throughout the half-term week (17th – 21st February), we will host a different themed craft workshop focused on kindness, offering children the chance to engage in creative, meaningful experiences while taking home precious keepsakes.
Activities include:
Monday 17th Kindness Krackers – Craft positive messages and fill the crackers with treats to regift spreading kindness to others.
Tuesday 18th Positive Plaques – Children can craft empowering messages on wooden plaques and decorate them with vibrant colours and embellishments to take home.
Wednesday 19th Cupcake Workshop – Kids can make a sweet treat to take home while also gifting one to a friend.
Thursday 20th Piggy Bank Decoration Station – Decorate a piggy bank as a reminder to save and pledge a donation to a charity of choice.
Friday 21st A Jar of Kindness – Decorate and fill a recycled jar with kind notes for loved ones or little reminders to yourself.
To spread kindness even further each child will create a special postcard with uplifting messages to be shared with residents of care homes in Watford.
As well as this there will be a colourful ribbon backdrop at the event where children can post ways to be kind.
Workshops run Monday 17th to Friday 21st February. Located in Charter Place opposite Puttshack.
Free to attend, no booking required just turn up on the day.
Please note due to the popularity of our free workshops there may be queues. If you need special assistance please speak with the event staff prior to entering the space.
