Give A Gift Appeal

Give a Gift Appeal is back for 2023 and collecting gifts and donations for HomeStart Watford & Three Rivers, Sebby’s Corner, HABS and Watford Mencap, who help local families in particular need over the festive period.

Christmas for some is filled with joy but for others it’s sadly the most difficult time of year. Your support and donations mean so much to these charities and we know this first-hand. Last year the families who we supported would not have had a Christmas only for the generosity of our shoppers.

Visitors to the centre are invited to place unwrapped gifts, including craft activities, toys and new clothing into the giant box located on the upper mall, near Apple.

We thank you in advance for your support. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. We are looking for donations for babies and toddlers right up to teens.

About the charities.

Home-Start Watford is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times.

Watford Mencap works with people with learning disabilities, their families and carers and they believe that people with a learning disability have the right to enjoy equal opportunities and be valued as members of society, enabling them to lead the life they want for themselves.

Sebby’s Corner helps families in need, including those in poverty, temporary housing, domestic abuse situations, refugees, asylum seekers, and survivors of human trafficking. They provide essential items like clothing, nappies, and toiletries through donations and fundraising, tailored to each family's unique needs. Their belief is that every child should have what they need to thrive.

HABS – works with local schools, offering diverse support, from counselling to community projects. Services are available to all families with children in partnership schools, addressing needs like parenting, mental health, and financial challenges.
